skewTrading. provides electronic brokerage services for CME and Deribit listed cryptocurrency products. In order to gain access to these products, you will first need to connect your exchange account credentials to skewTrading.
Permissioning skew. will allow us to submit block trades to the relevant exchange on your behalf. This can be done by following the steps below:
Step 1: Log into your Deribit account and navigate to the ‘API’ tab on the ‘My Account’ page
Step 2: Click ‘+ Add a new key’ and
- Select read_write for Block Trade.
- Enter ‘skewTrading’ for Name
- Optional: For added security, you can whitelist skew.’s IP by entering 184.108.40.206 in the appropriate field.
- Click ‘Add new key’ to generate a unique API Key (or ‘Client ID’) and Client Secret.
The remaining fields are optional only and not required to permission skew. to submit trades to Deribit on your behalf. Please consult Deribit support if you have any further questions.
Step 3: Provide skew. with your Deribit ‘API / Client Key’ and ‘Client Secret’ in the Trading section of your skew. Hub, which can be found by selecting the 'Manage Account' option from the drop down menu at the top right of any page.
You will need to contact your Futures Clearing Merchant and instruct them to permission skew. as a broker to submit block trades on your behalf. We will become privy to your CME information once this process is complete, which we may use to set up your account.
Similar to Deribit, you may provide your CME exchange information to skew. directly from the ‘Manage Account’ page in your skew. Hub.
We strongly recommend that you do not email your exchange credentials to us. We have developed the above channels as a secure means to provide this information to skew., with your security interests in mind!
Please note, permissioning skew. to submit block trades to an exchange does not provision us with access to your account. We cannot trade on your behalf, nor can we amend material features of your account, such as authorised persons, risk or credit limits, etc. Please contact email@example.com if you have any concerns.
Please see How does our firm manage organisation level information and settings for skewTrading.? for further guidance on how you can manage skewTrading. account on behalf of your organisation.
