Organisational information can be set for your firm from the skew. Hub. You will need to set limits and add CME information before being able to trade. On the left hand side of your skew. Hub, you will find a vertical tab listing the various pages you can access and manage. Underneath ‘Trading’, please click ‘Organisation Management’, as shown below:
skew. Hub > Trading > Organisation Management
This page allows you to set single order and daily order risk limits and set your default exchange attributes at an organisational level. Risk limits and CME attributes must be set prior to engaging in trading activity, but can be updated at later stages to reflect the changing needs of your team.
The limits set at this level will be applicable across all sub-accounts within your organisation by default (see Sub-Account Management below for further discussion). Please take note of the following:
- Limits must be set within the default skew. limits, which will be automatically applicable when your trading account is first created. skew. does not publicise this information but an error message will alert you if you try to exceed the default limits.
- The trading limits that you have in place with your Futures Clearing Merchant (‘FCM’) will not be affected by amending limits on skewTrading. You will not be able to execute transactions exceeding the limits set by your FCM. While a trade may be sent to the CME for execution, it will fail at clearing.
The ‘Attributes’ section relates to your CME and Clearing Account information. We will set this for you (only at the organisational level) when we create your trading account, but you can update this if required. If you have multiple clearing accounts with the CME, the account that is set at this level will be used as the default clearing account across all sub-accounts, however, this can be amended at the sub-account level.
Please note, the information entered here must directly match your CME Account details. If you require confirmation of this information, please contact your FCM directly.
