The trading services provided by skew. are available only to those organisations that meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the skewTrading. Rulebook (refer to Clause 4).
In order to apply to skewTrading., an applicant must be categorised as either a Professional Client or Eligible Counterparty under MiFID II. Please note that this means that access to the Firm’s trading services is not available to individuals, retail clients, or any such legal entity that does not meet this minimum standard.
Know Your Customer
skew. conducts Know Your Customer due diligence on all of its clients, in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Directive to which the Firm is subject. The Firm takes a risk-based approach in its assessment of potential trading members, and therefore the information required in order to complete such a review is determined on a case by case basis. All applicants, however, will be required to submit the following information, at a minimum:
Company Documentation
- Certificate of incorporation / company registry extracts; constitutional documents; latest audited financial report.
- Passports for all Directors; Partners; Controllers; and/or Authorised Representatives.
Persons of Significant Control (including any persons, whether natural or corporate, with 25% or more direct or indirect shareholding):
- Certified Organisational / Shareholding Chart
- Passport
- Certificate of Incorporation / Company Registry extracts
Exchange Services
Applicants wishing to trade exchange listed derivatives through skewTrading. must meet the minimum requirements for trading those products listed by the Relevant Market. skew. currently supports CME and Deribit listed Bitcoin and Ether derivative contracts on its electronic brokerage platform.
Applicants must be appropriately registered with the CME and/or Deribit prior to trading via skew. Applicants wishing to trade CME products must have an account with a CME approved Futures Clearing Merchant.
